This year’s budget addresses growth, inflation pressures, and service demands, ensuring our community continues to receive high-quality service.

The budget supports the programs and services residents and businesses depend on every day while making important investments in strengthening our community. It includes a property tax rate increase of 3.9%. This represents an increase of $54.99 on the city portion of the tax bill for the average home in Markham.
