I’m honoured to walk alongside our incredible Heritage Lions Club and our community in support of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides on National Dog Guide Day.

Strolling through Ada Mackenzie Park with residents, families, friends — and of course, our furry friends — filled the morning with joy, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness. Moments like these remind us why community matters.

Dog Guides change lives every day by empowering Canadians with disabilities to live with greater independence, confidence, and connection. Supporting this program means supporting dignity, inclusion, and opportunity for all.
