Earth Day: To Protect Our Enviornment

Today, I had the honour of joining @socialmedia.tcmps’s Grade 6-8 students and Student Council for their #earthday community clean-up at Highgate Park and nearby pathways #ward8markham – and I couldn’t be prouder of their incredible effort! These young leaders rolled up their sleeves and showed what #community spirit and environmental stewardship look like in action. Together, we: **Removed bags of litter** to protect our park’s natural beauty **Demonstrated leadership** that inspires all of Ward 8 **Proved that small actions create real change** for our planet A special thank you to the dedicated teachers and staff coordinators who supported this initiative. When schools and communities come together, #markham becomes greener and stronger!
