Community Priority 2: Youth Development Program

Creating More Opportunities for Our Youth

Our youth deserve more than hope — they deserve real opportunities.
With increasing academic pressure, mental health challenges, and uncertainty about future careers, our young people need the support and opportunities to build confidence, develop skills, and discover their potential.
I supported Milliken Mills High School’s participation in the World Robotics Competition and created meaningful volunteer opportunities where youth can develop leadership, teamwork, and real-world experience.
Looking ahead, I will lead a comprehensive Youth Development Program connecting young people with community organizations, mentors, businesses, and the City to develop career skills, leadership, volunteer experience, and confidence.
Build Skills. Build Confidence. Create Opportunities. Empower the Future.
